square18 is a golf score tracking and bet settlement app built for recreational golfers. This policy explains what we do — and don't do — with your information.
When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. That's it. We use it only to notify you when square18 launches on the App Store. We will never sell it, share it with third parties, or use it for anything else.
Everything you enter in the app — player names, handicap indexes, scores, game formats, round history, and payment handles — is stored locally on your device. None of it is transmitted to our servers or any third party.
square18 does not process, hold, or transfer money. Settlement links open third-party apps — Venmo, Zelle, Cash App, PayPal, or Apple Pay — directly. Any transaction happens entirely within those platforms, subject to their own privacy policies.
square18 uses a third-party golf API to retrieve course and scorecard information. Only a course name or ID is sent with each request. No personal information is included.
square18 is not directed at anyone under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
If we update this policy, we'll reflect the change with a new date above. Material changes will also be communicated by email to waitlist members.
